The Admin Chickens

The Admin Chickens is a production group for The Haunted franchise, which is based on stories of the Minecraft creepypasta,

The Admin Chickens produced The Haunting 3: Legend of Herobrine as well as The Haunted web series.

Background[]

The Admin Chickens had 34 members to start, with RejectedShotgun and Gamecrown96 hosting a group in TeamSpeak 3.

The Admin Chickens were a team consisting of RejectedShotgun, Gamecrown96, and xikroniczz. The first two known members were RejectedShotgun and Gamecrown96. They have completed The Haunting series as well as season one of The Haunted as well as the first two episodes of season two, all through the use of Minecraft.

History[]

Formation and The Haunting[]

The Admin Chickens formed around early August of 2012, the name founded by an unknown player in RejectedShotgun's Minecraft server. The group, which was the successor to the RShot Team, continued the production of The Haunting 3: Legend of Herobrine.

Popularity and The Haunted[]

The group gained popularity after the success of Legend of Herobrine and already planned a follow-up to the film after the release of the final part to Legend of Herobrine. Gamecrown96 began working on sets in the Minecraft Hexxit world that was used for Legend of Herobrine, but these sets were eventually scrapped in favour of a larger, more expansive world in a Minecraft Attack of the B Team world.

The group began producing the new series, titled The Haunted. The first season premiered on June 24, 2014. It ran for 13 episodes and its finale was on June 23, 2015.

Throughout production of the first season, members ShadowsFusion, RainMaker442, and xikroniczz all departed from the group for their respective reasons. However, after the completion of the first season, xikroniczz returned to The Admin Chickens. Given the popularity of the first season, the series was renewed for a second season.

Cancellation and Disbandment[]

Around early June of 2017, the leader of the group, RejectedShotgun decides to leave the group, thus ending the leadership of the group which lead to its disbandment to join The Overwatch Crew. The second season of The Haunted was cancelled and development was handed over to Gamecrown96, who formed his own group, The Evergreen Crew.

The Haunting Crew[]

Former members RejectedShotgun, xikroniczz, Gamecrown96, and RainMaker442 returned to The Haunted franchise in May 2020, The four, along with Alexa, formed The Haunting Crew, the successor to The Admin Chickens.
