Gamecrown96, whose real name is Grayson and is also simply known as Gamecrown or Gray, is an actor and producer for The Haunted franchise
He is known most notably for his portrayal as the tritagonist, Grayson as well as his work as director and producer for The Haunting 3: Legend of Herobrine and The Haunted series.
His wife is ShadowSiren66. He is a former member of The Admin Chickens and a former member of The Evergreen Crew. He is a current member of The Haunting Crew.
Biography[]
Forming The Admin Chickens and Dovahjoor[]
A few months after the releases of The Haunting: Minecraft Movie and The Haunting: Second Life, which Gamecrown96 did not partake in the production of, Gamecrown96 and RejectedShotgun worked on another Minecraft film series based on The Elder Scrolls video game series, titled Dovahjoor.
He and RejectedShotgun also formed The Admin Chickens.
The Haunting 3: Legend of Herobrine and Rising Popularity[]
Gamecrown96 and The Admin Chickens began production of Legend of Herobrine in 2012, though production was delayed until 2013 when it was also to be released. Gamecrown96 portrayed the character Grayson, who was later confirmed to be a character mentioned in The Haunting: Second Life.
After the releases of the five parts, The Admin Chickens grew in popularity, including Gamecrown96. The group of YouTubers continued their ventures into Minecraft for their respective YouTube channels.
The Haunted[]
Shortly after the release of Legend of Herobrine, Gamecrown96 began working on creating new sets for the upcoming series, later to be revealed as The Haunted. However, these sets, which were built in the Minecraft Hexxit mod pack, was later scrapped in favour of a larger, expansive world built in the Minecraft Attack of the B Team mod pack. Gamecrown96 continued to create sets for The Haunted, alongside RejectedShotgun and LegitxxGlitch.
Gamecrown96 took on the mantle of the director of the series and he also reprised his role as Grayson from Legend of Herobrine. He also portrayed Drake and various extras in the first season's 10th episode.
Due to the departure of xikroniczz from The Admin Chickens, the group had to finish the season with a two-part finale, with LegitxxGlitch filling in for the role of Armen/Herobrine.
Cancellation and The Evergreen Crew[]
The series was renewed for a second season and Gamecrown96 continued his work on set building and directing, as well as portraying Grayson. The season was cancelled after the second episode.
Gamecrown96 continued to work on The Haunted franchise without RejectedShotgun, leading him to form The Evergreen Crew. The group planned to continue the series through mediums outside of Minecraft, such as animation and web comics.
The Haunted Comic Team and Personal Life[]
Gamecrown96 eventually stepped down from the production of The Haunted. This led to the creation of The Haunted Comic Team, led by Maiya. He also went on a hiatus on YouTube and Twitch as a break to spend more time with his real-life friends.
Gamecrown96 married ShadowSiren66 in 2019 and had a daughter in the month of November of the same year. He resumed his YouTube and Twitch career in December.
Haunting web series[]
RejectedShotgun had planned to return to The Haunted series through the upcoming Minecraft-inspired video game, Hytale. However, due to its release date set in 2021 and the lack of updates for the game, he decided to return to Minecraft. Gamecrown96 is set to play the role of an unknown character in the upcoming reboot.
Post Admin Chickens[]
After completing this chapter of his life he opened up a taco truck business. It primarily serves in the Chicago area under the name "Graylo Tacos" with minor success. He claimed on Discord, "It pays the bills. I'm better for it. Good to leave acting behind."
